We are seeking an experienced BMU Projects Supervisor to join our growing BMU division and coordinate the delivery of technically complex BMU installation and refurbishment projects.
About the Role
Reporting to the National BMU Manager, the BMU Projects Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising Building Maintenance Unit installation, refurbishment and upgrade projects across a range of commercial construction and existing building sites.
This role requires a highly organised construction professional who can coordinate project activities, supervise site personnel and subcontractors, liaise with builders, engineers and clients, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with engineering specifications and Australian Standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate BMU installation, refurbishment and replacement projects from commencement through to completion.
· Supervise BMU technicians, trade assistants and subcontractors.
· Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and specialist resources.
· Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and construction documentation.
· Monitor project progress and ensure works are delivered in accordance with project schedules.
· Liaise with builders, engineers, consultants, suppliers and client representatives.
· Coordinate site access, permits, lifting activities and installation sequencing.
· Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and quality.
· Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Work Health and Safety legislation and company procedures.
· Prepare project documentation, progress reports and completion records.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
· A Diploma or higher qualification in Building and Construction, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
· Demonstrated experience coordinating commercial construction or specialist building projects.
· Experience supervising tradespeople, subcontractors and construction site activities.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities.
· Commitment to delivering projects safely and to a high standard.
· Current White Card and unrestricted driver's licence.
Experience working with Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), façade access systems, structural steel or other specialist mechanical building systems will be highly regarded.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
