About the role
Join SA Pathology as the Haemostasis Scientific Manager and lead a high-performing team delivering specialist diagnostic services within the Royal Adelaide Hospital Core Laboratory. You'll provide operational leadership across the Haemostasis and thrombotic section, managing scientific and technical activities while ensuring high-quality, timely and patient-focused laboratory services. Working closely with Haemostasis Principal Scientist and clinical leads, you'll oversee daily operations, set priorities and drive service excellence across the discipline.
This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of a specialist laboratory service through leadership, innovation and continuous improvement. You'll mentor and develop scientific and technical staff, optimise workflows, implement new techniques and quality initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of clinical governance, safety and diagnostic practice.
About You
You are an experienced Medical Scientist and inspiring leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional diagnostic services and developing high-performing teams.
- Bachelor of Science or Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)
- Extensive diagnostic pathology and laboratory leadership experience
- Expertise in quality systems, workflow management and staff development
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
