About the Role

We're after a C&E powerhouse to lead our Conference & Events Sales team. You'll drive performance, chase the right business, maximise yield, and turn enquiries into signed deals that keep our vibrant event spaces buzzing. With your finger firmly on the pulse, you'll stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity, using sharp commercial insight to uncover opportunities and keep us one step ahead. From budgets and forecasting to booking accuracy and strategic planning, you'll have the details dialled in. Most importantly, you're a people-first leader who loves mentoring, coaching and developing talent. Leading with energy, creativity and a touch of QT flair, you'll inspire a high-performing team that delivers unforgettable experiences, exceptional results and events that are anything but ordinary.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all conference and events sales, maximising yield and conversion with the team.
Develop and train a high-performing C&E team of 3.
Build strong client relationships through networking and site inspections.
Review business plans and proactively address gaps to meet revenue targets.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting for C&E revenue streams.
Monitor market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies.
Ensure accurate booking data, reporting, and source tracking.
Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
Lead post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and secure repeat business.
Maximising the efficiency of the department, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround on enquiries, accurate quotes, contracts, BEO’s and details on iVvy whilst maintaining a high service standard.
Develop and train a high-performing C&E team of 3.
Maintain compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and service quality.

What You’ll Bring

1-2 years of previous experience in similar role ideally coming from the Hotels or Event companies.
Ability to analyse business plans, identify gaps, and implement proactive sales strategies.
Strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity to drive commercial success.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Proficient in event systems (e.g. iVvy), with a focus on accuracy in quoting, contracting, and reporting.
Demonstrated leadership in team development, training, and performance management.
Skilled in coordinating cross-departmental operations to ensure seamless event delivery.
