Job Description

Seeking an experienced and dynamic all-rounders (bar & floor) to join a family-owned company located in the heart of Zetland, NSW. The establishment boasts a lively pub atmosphere with sensational food. This role requires a confident and enthusiastic leader with a minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in line with RSA standards, extensive knowledge of bar work + alcoholic beverages, ability to carry minimum 3 plates and understand both food and beverage menus extensively.

Responsibilities

Perform the tasks of order taking and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance; ensure items are announced.
Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.
Take guests orders and prepare alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages in timely and efficient fashion.
Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
General cleaning and maintenance of venue facilities
Maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
Maintain currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.

Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of compliance requirements within the pub/restaurant industry.
Strong bar and alcohol knowledge.
Exceptional communication and problem solving skills.
Experience working in pubs or bars.
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Must have valid RSA
