Our client, located in Orchid Hills NSW, is a not-for-profit, member-based association that is focused on supporting and promoting the welfare of dogs and raising the standards of breeding purebreds within NSW. They are looking for an Operations Manager to plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the Company, and drive best practice for operating efficiency.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This full-time permanent position is responsible for developing and driving the execution of Company initiatives to improve the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the organisation’s operations.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing capital works and maintenance for the Company in consultation with the Board.
- Coordinating the strategic planning of the Company.
- Reviewing financial statements and data and improving profitability of the Company.
- Improving processes and policies in support of organisational strategy and goals.
- Managing and monitoring the performance of various business units.
- Monitoring, managing and improving efficiency of support services including registrations, transfers, membership, media and finance.
- Managing customer support, as well as sales and marketing activities.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operations Manager.
- Significant experience at management level, incorporating reporting obligations to boards, and including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project and operational leadership skills enabling delivery against key objectives.
- Demonstrated budget management skills, including operational finance with a focus on the ability to manage costs.
- Strong communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite.
