Experienced Kitchen Hand - Café & Wedding Functions
The Chapel at Montville | Montville, QLD | Part-time / Casual

We're a premium wedding venue in the Sunshine Coast hinterland with a café operating alongside our function business. Our food is a genuine part of what couples book us for seasonal menus, proper plating, and a small kitchen team that takes it seriously.

We're looking for an experienced kitchen hand to support our chef across both sides of the business.

The role

up to 4 days per week in the café, prep, service support, cleaning, stock rotation
Saturday nights for wedding functions, plating support, pass work, keeping the kitchen moving under pressure
Working directly alongside the chef

What we're after

Previous kitchen hand experience, ideally in quality dining or a venue with function work
Plating experience or a good eye for presentation
Someone who's worked a function service and knows what 100 plates going out at once feels like
Reliable, clean, and quick, the café days are steady, the Saturdays are intense
Own transport (we're in the hinterland, public transport isn't realistic)
