The Opportunity

Our Launceston branch is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Manager to lead branch administration and site services. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead day-to-day administrative operations, ensure compliance with company processes, and support key financial and site-based activities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Manage branch administration operations to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and cost control
Lead the Administration team, ensuring high performance, development, and alignment to branch objectives
Monitor Administration Department budgets, track expenditure and work with department managers to address variances
Coordinate branch inductions, on-boarding activities, training bookings and maintenance of competency records
Manage receivables and payables including customer debt follow-up, cash handling, banking, petty cash and account maintenance
Support branch auditing, QA processes and ensure compliance with corporate standards
Ensure safety and risk management controls are in place, including monthly inspections, observations, toolbox talks and contractor compliance
Maintain branch appearance, filing systems, archive processes and support internal and customer events

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven management and leadership experience leading a small team within administration or a similar environment
Strong organisational ability and demonstrated administrative experience
High attention to detail with strong financial awareness and budgeting skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and hands-on approach
Strong computer literacy and ability to manage multiple systems and processes
