About the role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment / diesel engines. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all plant equipment is in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, trucks and earthmoving equipment
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- On site servicing and maintenance when required
About You
-
Qualified Diesel mechanic (Mandatory)
- Experience with Plant Equipment preferred and highly regarded!
- Preferably HR / HC truck licenses
- Must have experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and earthmoving equipment.
- Forklift / machine tickets preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
