As an Optical Dispenser, you'll play a vital role in helping patients look, see, and feel their best while supporting a welcoming and community-focused practice environment.
About the Role
Working across both Andrew Watkins Optometrist and Evans & McMahon Optometrists, you will:

Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle, vision needs, and personal style
- Develop strong product knowledge and confidently recommend optical solutions
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient experiences
- Support dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and general optical services
- Assist with practice administration and day-to-day operations
- Work collaboratively with Optometrists and team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Travel between the Andrew Watkins and Evans & McMahon practices as required
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who brings:

A genuine passion for patient care and customer service
- Previous retail or optical dispensing experience (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence learning and sharing product knowledge
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a collaborative team mindset
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, public holidays, and late trade when required
- A willingness and ability to travel between Andrew Watkins and Evans & McMahon locations
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport is highly desirable but not required
