We're excited to welcome a Patient Support Assistant - Food Services to our Food Services team.

As a Patient Support Assistant - Food Services, improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will take pride in the high quality and nutritional food and beverage service you deliver by preparing, plating and presenting meals for distribution.

You will work as part of a larger team in a state-of-the art kitchen facility following procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment and receiving, storing and rotating stock.

Key responsibilities include:
Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe environment and follow kitchen and personal hygiene standards.
Assist with stock receipt, storage and appropriate stock rotation.
Assist in the preparation of food items using the cook chill food production system and prepare sandwiches and salads.

Salary rates: $40.42 - $43.12 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (OO2) (casual positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
