Facility Manager – Spring Hill Baths
Spring Hill Baths is seeking a motivated and hands-on Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, people, programs, and customer experience at this much-loved community aquatic venue.
As part of the City Venue Management (CVM) network, Spring Hill Baths plays an important role in connecting people through swimming, health, recreation, and community engagement.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on operational leader who enjoys being visible in the venue, supporting a team, solving problems, and making sure everything runs safely and smoothly each day.
Spring Hill Baths is a small, community-focused venue, so this role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being close to the day-to-day operation rather than managing a large or complex facility. You will be a key point of leadership on site, with responsibility for keeping the venue, team, customers, and operations running effectively.
About the Role
As Facility Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of Spring Hill Baths, ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational objectives.
This is a hands-on leadership role, with a strong focus on daily venue operations, customer experience, team support, safety, and facility presentation. You will work closely with the broader CVM network and operational leadership team while taking ownership of what happens on site.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead and support the venue team across operations, swim school, customer service, and aquatic programs
-
Oversee the day-to-day management of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming, and well-presented environment for all patrons
-
Be a visible and approachable leader on site, supporting staff and responding to day-to-day operational requirements
-
Drive membership, program participation, and swim school growth through exceptional customer service and community engagement
-
Manage day-to-day operational requirements, reporting, and financial performance
-
Ensure compliance with all legislative, safety, risk management, and child safeguarding requirements
-
Maintain high standards of pool plant operations, facility presentation, cleanliness, and asset management
-
Build positive relationships with local schools, community groups, stakeholders, and customers
-
Foster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
-
Work collaboratively with the broader CVM team and seek support where required
