Full Job Description

Bayside Counselling and Consultation Pty Ltd is seeking a Registered Psychologist / Accredited Mental Health Social Worker/ Marriage Counsellor to join our team of private practice. We provide a psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families who present with a wide range of mental health issues and life stressors.

We have a strong referral network. Ideally, we would like a clinician to work with individuals and family who struggle with concerns such as depression, anxiety, phobia, stress, trauma, relationship and work-life balance. Our relaxed environment will allow you to be in charge of your own life and work the hours that suit you.

The position:

Flexible working conditions and location(s) including hours and days (Monday to Saturday).

Essential requirements:

Registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA/AASW/ACA/PACFA
2 years of experience is preferred; however, all applications will be considered.
Experience in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families across a range of clinical issues
Experience in the use of CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions
Ability to work independently and part of a dynamic team
Effective time management
Strong work ethic
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Medicare Provider eligibility
Working with Children Check
Police Check
