Across the globe, our family of brands produce malt that is blended into some of your favourite industry-leading beverages and local craft brews.

Malt Operator / Industrial Cleaner
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Malt Operator / Industrial Cleaner to join our team at our Welshpool plant, Western Australia. Reporting to the Plant Coordinator, this role supports plant operations, quality control and hygiene standards.

Key duties

Malt out-loading (bulk trucks and containers), including manual handling, quality checks and paperwork
Barley receival, sampling, quality testing and unloading
Cleaning plant facilities and equipment to hygiene standards
Operation of processing equipment and routine quality/process checks
Computer and paper-based data entry and process logs

Role requirements

Physical role (stairs, twisting, lifting up to 25 kg)
Exposure to grain dust, cleaning chemicals, confined spaces and heights
Dayworker role: weekdays only, 76 hours per fortnight (9–10 shifts)

About you

Experience in food production, manufacturing or a similar environment
Good communication and basic computer skills
Able to read and understand Safety Data Sheets, procedures and written instructions
Able to accurately complete safety, quality and process records
Basic maths skills for testing and process calculations
Strong commitment to workplace safety

Desirable (training provided if required)

Forklift licence
Confined Space Entry
Working at Heights
First Aid
Authorised Officer (DAFF)
