This is an exciting opportunity to join IREN during a period of significant global growth and play a key role in the evolution of its risk management capability. As a NASDAQ-listed business with operations spanning Australia, North America and Europe, IREN is continuing to expand its scale, complexity and international footprint, creating unique opportunities to influence how risk is managed across the organisation. Working within a modern, forward-thinking Risk & Compliance function, you'll contribute to the ongoing development and embedding of IREN's risk management framework, partnering with stakeholders across the business to strengthen risk awareness, accountability and decision-making. This role offers rare exposure to a diverse and evolving risk landscape, international operations, and the chance to help shape the frameworks, processes and culture that will support IREN's next stage of growth.

Maintain risk registers and support risk identification, assessment, and treatment activities.
Develop and enhance risk profiles, reporting, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership and the Board.
Administer and improve GRC systems and risk management processes.
Conduct control testing and assurance reviews, including remediation tracking and closure.
Identify control gaps, strengthen control frameworks, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage incidents, issues, and remediation actions, ensuring root causes are addressed.
Support risk maturity and transformation initiatives across the business.
Prepare risk reports for senior management and Audit & Risk Committees.
Build strong stakeholder relationships to embed effective risk management practices.
Leverage GRC technology and AI tools to improve risk reporting, analysis, and assurance activities.

4+ years’ experience in risk, compliance, governance, audit, or similar roles, with expertise in risk registers, reporting, control testing, assurance, and remediation activities.
Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, third-party risk, business resilience, and GRC platforms, gained within large, complex organisations and ideally multi-jurisdictional environments.
Highly analytical with strong documentation and reporting skills, able to develop dashboards, processes, and governance artefacts while translating complex information into actionable insights.
Commercially minded and tech-savvy, with demonstrated success leveraging technology and AI to improve risk outcomes, automate manual processes, and deliver results autonomously in complex environments
