The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, to help shape and deliver the technical direction of our digital platform. As part of a collaborative Full Stack TypeScript team, you'll work across both front-end and back-end development, building high-quality, scalable and maintainable software that delivers exceptional customer experiences.

You'll join a customer-focused, agile environment where design, engineering and product work closely together to create mobile-first digital experiences. This is an opportunity to work across the entire software development lifecycle, influence technical decisions, adopt emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll be doing:

Design, develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready software across the full stack.
Collaborate with designers, engineers and product teams to build customer-centric digital experiences.
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, with a strong focus on performance, reliability and security.
Contribute to application architecture and promote best practices in software engineering.
Participate in Agile delivery practices and support a SecDevOps culture.
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues across applications.
Support continuous improvement through the evaluation and implementation of new tools, technologies and ways of working.
Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and helping create a strong engineering culture.
Contribute to technical discussions, team practices and roadmap planning to help drive business outcomes

What we’re looking for:

5+ years' experience in software engineering, ideally within digital product environments.
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript across the full stack.
Experience with React (or similar front-end frameworks).
Experience with Node.js, Express, or equivalent back-end technologies.
Strong knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and maintainable styling approaches.
Experience with Git/GitHub, npm and modern build tools such as Next.js or Vite.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
Understanding of CI/CD practices, semantic versioning and modern software delivery principles.
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.
Experience working in autonomous, cross-functional teams.
