Full Job Description

As a trusted service provider to the food processing industry, our team plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Our work ensures production facilities can continue delivering safe, high-quality food to communities every day.

Position: Cleaning Hygiene Operator

We're currently looking for motivated and reliable team members to join our growing team.

What you'll be doing:

Performing hygiene and sanitation cleaning within a meat processing facility
Working as part of a team to maintain strict food safety standards
Following site procedures and safety guidelines at all times

Role Details:

Immediate start available
Expected start date - ASAP
Location: Kilcoy, QLD
Night shift position
2 X Monday to Friday shifts available
1 X Saturday to Tuesday shift available (Sat & Sunday increased pay rate)
Approx. hours: 11:59pm – 5:12am
3 positions available
Required to have Q Fever vaccination (Preferred but not required) - if successful, this will be organized for you by the business.
Cleaning animal fat, blood and other animal proteins.

What we offer:

Competitive pay in line with the Cleaning Services Award (MA000022)
Casual night shift rate: $40.07 per hour
Penalty rates applicable for weekends and night shifts
Ongoing, stable work with a supportive team
Opportunity to grow within a well-established organisation
Adequate training provided at site

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Comfortable standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move equipment and materials (up to approx. 15–20kg)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment
Ability to work in wet, cold and high-pressure washdown conditions

Environmental Factors

Hot and cold conditions
Steamy environment
Working at heights
Working in confined spaces
Use of chemicals
Wet and slippery surfaces

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.07 per hour
