Our Finance team sits within the global Hub Group alongside Marketing, IT, People & Capability and Executive Leadership. Together, we support a growing international business across multiple studios, jurisdictions and currencies.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Financial Controller (Northern Hemisphere & Change Management) to join our Finance team in a newly created role that will be instrumental in supporting ASPECT's ambition to build a world-class finance function.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role has responsibility for financial controllership across ASPECT's Northern Hemisphere studios, including the UK, UAE, China and Vietnam, while also leading key finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the practice.
Working closely with the Director of Finance, Co-CEOs and the broader Finance team, you will strengthen financial governance, improve reporting quality, enhance systems and processes, and support the business as it continues to evolve internationally.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence, stakeholder engagement and organisational change.
What You'll Do
As Financial Controller, you will:
Financial Leadership & Controllership
- Lead end-to-end financial operations across ASPECT's Northern Hemisphere studios.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts, forecasts and year-end reporting.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and ensure robust financial controls are operating effectively.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
- Manage treasury activities including cash flow, working capital management, foreign exchange and funding requirements.
- Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external advisors and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and deliver finance transformation projects that improve reporting quality, efficiency and business insight.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, controls and reporting standards.
- Improve data integrity and ownership of financial information across the practice.
- Support the development of globally consistent financial processes and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to building a high-performing, scalable and future-focused finance function.
Business Partnership
- Partner with Studio Directors, Commercial Managers and Executive Leadership to support informed decision-making.
- Deliver financial modelling, scenario planning and performance analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Translate complex financial information into practical insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Act with a "One Studio" mindset, supporting collaboration and consistency across ASPECT globally.
About You
You are an experienced finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys driving meaningful change. You combine strong technical expertise with a continuous improvement mindset and are comfortable influencing stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures.
You will bring:
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5+ years' experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent senior finance leadership role.
- Experience operating within multinational organisations across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
- Demonstrated success leading finance transformation projects, including system implementations, acquisitions, operating model improvements or expansion into new markets.
- Experience managing accountability to multiple stakeholders across a complex business environment.
Key Capabilities

- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of relevant accounting standards.
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and managing external audits.
- Advanced budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of tax, treasury and statutory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Experience improving financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
- Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organisation.
- The flexibility and resilience to succeed within a dynamic and high-growth environment.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Exposure to international treasury and foreign exchange management.
- Experience implementing finance systems or leading business transformation initiatives.
