Accounts Receivable Administration - Motion Regency Park - Full Time
Summary: The AR Administration Officer processes payments, reconciles accounts, maintains accurate customer records, and supports month-end tasks per company policy.
The Accounts Receivable Administration Officer is responsible for processing payments, performing reconciliations, maintaining accurate customer account records, and supporting month-end activities in line with company policies and procedures.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Finance Shared Services team. This role also plays a key part in delivering high-quality customer service, including meeting phone service level targets, answering incoming calls, and monitoring and responding to shared email inboxes to support internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting month-end processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the function, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phone Service Levels, answering incoming calls and deliver professional and responsive customer service both internal and external stakeholders
- Manage shared email inboxes, responding to branch, sales, and customer enquiries in a timely manner
- Process customer refunds accurately and in accordance with company policy
- Process and allocate bank deposits to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner
- Investigate and manage unapplied and unallocated payment transactions
- Monitor account balances and financial activity to ensure accurate allocations and compliance with financial practices
- Process credit card payments and maintain customer account records
- Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate financial documentation and records
- Assist with month-end closing and provide reporting as requested by management
- Support auditors by providing documentation and information on accounts receivable processes
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and WHS&E standards
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with financial data
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software packages
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement action plans
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
