About the role
As our Online Fleet Specialist, you’ll oversee the performance and day-to-day service delivery of our online fleet, helping keep vehicles available, reliable and ready to serve customers. You’ll be the key state contact for vehicle performance, repairs, off-road vehicles, incidents and end-of-life planning, working closely with stores, suppliers and the Central Fleet team. Your work will help minimise delivery disruption, manage fleet costs and ensure our vehicles remain safe and fit for purpose.
You will also:

Oversee the day-to-day performance and availability of online delivery vehicles across your state.

Coordinate vehicles that are off road, working with workshops and suppliers to speed up repairs and arrange replacements where needed.

Review repair quotes, approve work within your authority and escalate complex or high-cost repairs.

Manage the closure of vehicle-related safety and operational incidents, ensuring actions and records are complete.

Track fleet downtime, repair spend and recurring issues to identify practical improvement opportunities.

Support vehicle replacement, disposal and transition activities across the fleet lifecycle.
About you and your skills
You’re an experienced transport, fleet or workshop professional who knows how to keep vehicles moving in a busy operational environment. You bring a practical service mindset, strong judgement and the confidence to coordinate multiple stakeholders while balancing customer impact, safety, cost and operational priorities.
You will have:

Experience in fleet operations, transport, logistics, vehicle maintenance coordination or workshop operations.

Experience managing vehicle servicing, repairs, breakdowns, availability or vehicle-off-road activities.

Strong stakeholder management, communication and supplier coordination skills.

Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.

A good understanding of fleet lifecycle, safety, compliance and operational reporting processes.
