What you’ll be doing:
Working alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide technical leadership, build strong client relationships, mentor emerging engineers, and help deliver innovative engineering solutions that leave a lasting impact on communities.
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, infrastructure and government developments.
- Provide expert technical advice and strategic recommendations on electrical systems, undertaking condition assessments, life-cycle analysis, feasibility studies and option evaluations to support informed client decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and stakeholders to drive integrated design outcomes, resolve complex engineering challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage projects through all phases of design and construction, including design reviews, quality assurance, site inspections and contractor liaison, ensuring installations are delivered in accordance with project specifications, relevant standards and client expectations.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and designers, contributing to technical excellence, knowledge sharing and the ongoing development of the broader team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and contribute to the successful delivery of projects that positively impact Queensland communities.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a similar role in a building services consulting firm in Australia
- Has extensive experience in electrical building services consulting
- Enjoys leading projects and collaborating with clients
- Can mentor and develop junior engineers
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards and codes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team or autonomously
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- RPEQ registration required or actively working towards RPEQ accreditation.
