About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing IT team in a hybrid role combining
Level 1 & 2 Desktop Support with
Junior Network Engineering.
You'll provide onsite support to more than 350 users while working alongside experienced Network Engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting and infrastructure projects. It's an ideal role for someone looking to transition from Desktop Support into Networking.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Provide Level 1 & 2 desktop support for 350+ users.
- Deliver support onsite, over the phone and remotely.
- Manage user accounts, onboarding and system access.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, iPhones and end-user devices.
- Assist with SOE deployments, rollouts and IT projects.
- Support enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, wireless networks and connectivity.
- Assist with network monitoring, incident investigation and troubleshooting.
- Work alongside senior Network Engineers on upgrades, deployments and infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain accurate IT asset and network documentation.
What you'll bring
- 2-3+ years' experience in Desktop Support or IT Support.
- Strong Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory support experience.
- A solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, routing and switching.
- Exposure to Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco networking equipment is highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for networking and infrastructure.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
- Current driver's licence is advantageous.
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, MSA, MCSE or CCNA.

- $85,000-90,000 per annum + Super + Bonus
