About the Role
As a Disability Program Assistant Volunteer, you will support DPV Health’s Centre-Based Disability Program in the Whittlesea LGA. This role involves assisting disability instructors in delivering engaging social and skill-building activities, both onsite and in the community. You will help participants achieve their NDIS goals while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will:
Support instructors in delivering a range of activities, including arts & crafts, music, movement, sports, beauty and hydrotherapy.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Skills in recreational activities such as art, music, gardening, or cooking (highly valued but not essential).
Availability for 2-3 hrs weekly (9:30AM – 12:30PM), flexible
The Fine Print
Successful candidates will need to undergo a National Police Check and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.
A valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Check are required.
