Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager, Australia and New Zealand, to join us on a 12-month contract, based in Sydney and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll own

Identify, cultivate, and manage high-value account alliances and relationship programs to generate sales opportunities across the Australia and New Zealand.
Recruit, develop, and maintain strategic partner alliances, overseeing a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities.
Drive partner retention and satisfaction by ensuring the continuous growth of accounts and the successful execution of partnership initiatives.
Act as a brand ambassador, championing Worldpay’s products and services in collaboration with key partners to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
Analyze program trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with the global enterprise partnership team as well as the local commercial team to align goals, strategies, and objectives, building awareness and support for the overall value of partnerships.
Conduct financial analysis, long-range forecasting, and in-depth studies to evaluate potential alliances and partnerships, alongside the vertical growth teams.
Monitor the effectiveness of partnership programs, tracking sales impact and overall alliance success within the portfolio.
Stay vigilant of competitor activities within accounts, proactively implementing strategies to maintain market dominance and prevent competitor encroachment.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned partnership professional with a strong track record in strategic alliance management, looking to have a significant impact on Worldpay’s growth and success across the APAC region.
Perform other related duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the Global Enterprise Partnership team.

What you’ll bring

A strong understanding of how companies like Worldpay drive value through partner referral networks
An understanding of the Australia and New Zealand payments industry and its broader role in the merchant value chain
A strong understanding of the Merchant Acquiring ecosystem
Well-connected across the local payment network, established relationships with main payments ecosystem players and partners including Global eCommerce Platforms (such as SAP, Adobe Magento, Salesforce, BigCommerce and Commercetools)
Existing relationships and have previously worked with local and global payment consultants and firms.
Proven track record in partner/channel environment
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex technical detail and aggregate key points in a direct, impactful manner for non-technical and executive audiences
Deep knowledge of various operating models around merchant or partner introduction, on boarding, compliance, contracts.
General understanding of cross-border payments and the players in this space.
Knowledge of international and local card schemes and alternative payment methods
In-depth experience working with payment provider.
