About the Facility

Roshana Waterview Aged Care is a 90‑bed, resident‑focused home with attractive outlooks, light‑filled communal areas and spaces designed to encourage interaction between residents, families and staff. The care team works collaboratively, with strong clinical support and a positive culture that recognises and supports staff to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.

We are looking for Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to join our aged care team at Roshana Waterview Aged Care, in a Part Time capacity

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner / Laundry Assistant to join our aged care team. In this hands-on role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents while also ensuring laundry services are delivered to a high standard.

This is a fast-paced, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a supportive team, and making a meaningful difference every day.

What You Will Be Doing

Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ clothing and facility linen
Ensure correct handling, sorting, and labelling of laundry items
Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control, and cleanliness at all times
Manage waste disposal and restocking of cleaning and laundry supplies
Operate cleaning and laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Work collaboratively with care and hospitality teams to support a homely environment

What You Will Bring

Previous experience in cleaning or laundry (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good time management and ability to follow routines and procedures
Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks
Reliable, positive, and team-focused attitude
Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices (or willingness to learn)
A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
