About the Team

We deliver prime systems integration projects which build, develop and support military solutions for Defence. The team focuses on leveraging our local engineering, our services expertise, and global products to bring new capabilities to the Australian Defence Force.
The Opportunity
The Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) is a mission-critical suite of software applications that enables the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to effectively plan, prepare, execute, manage, and report on aviation operations.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer supporting the AC-C2CS program, you will play a key role in delivering and sustaining critical Defence infrastructure capabilities within a secure and highly regulated environment. Working alongside operational, engineering, project and security teams, you will help modernise infrastructure platforms that underpin important Defence outcomes.
In this role, you will:

Contribute to infrastructure refresh and technology modernisation initiatives across multiple sites, helping to improve capability, resilience and operational performance.

Design, deploy and support Microsoft server environments, delivering secure and reliable infrastructure solutions within Defence networks.

Support virtualisation platforms and migration activities, including Hyper-V administration and VMware to Hyper-V transition projects.
-
Provide infrastructure engineering expertise to projects and operational teams, contributing to solution development, planning activities and the successful delivery of technical outcomes across the AC-C2CS program.
About You
We are looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across both project delivery and operational support environments. You bring a collaborative approach, sound technical judgement and the ability to deliver infrastructure outcomes within secure, mission-critical environments.
Essential
-
Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft server and infrastructure environments.
-
Experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration or platform support roles.
-
Capability in deploying, configuring and maintaining virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V.
-
Experience delivering server deployments, infrastructure refresh programs or technology modernisation initiatives.
-
Ability to work effectively within highly regulated, secure or mission-critical environments.
-
Current NV2 Security Clearance or the ability to meet program requirements where applicable.
-
Ability to satisfy ITAR requirements.
Advantageous
-
Experience with VMware administration and virtualisation migration activities.

Experience delivering infrastructure projects across geographically dispersed or multi-site environments.
-
Experience working within Defence, Government or other secure operating environments.

Knowledge of Wintel platforms, systems engineering, infrastructure deployment or platform engineering practices.

Experience contributing to project planning, effort estimation, technical proposals or infrastructure solution design activities.
