About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AI and Reporting Solutions Developer to help improve how Snooze uses data, reporting, automation and artificial intelligence.
You will work directly with the GM Technology, our developers and teams across the business to build practical solutions people use in their everyday work.
Not proof of concepts. Not slide decks. Real tools that solve real problems and deliver measurable value.
The role combines two closely connected areas. You will build the reports, dashboards and data models the business relies on. You will also develop AI agents and automations that reduce manual work, improve access to information and help teams make better decisions. If something is slow, broken or still being done by hand, it is an opportunity to improve it.
Much of this role involves working directly with people across Snooze. You will need to understand how teams work, identify opportunities and translate requirements into solutions that are accurate, practical and easy to use. You will need to listen as well as you code.
What You Will Do
- Work with teams across the business to identify, scope and deliver reporting, AI and automation opportunities.
- Design, build, test and deploy AI agents and automated workflows using Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services and other appropriate technologies.
- Build and maintain Power BI reporting from operational reports through to executive dashboards as well as IBM Cognos reporting where required.
- Create integrations between AI solutions, business systems, databases and APIs.
- Investigate data quality issues, validate source data and reconcile reporting outputs.
- Test solutions for accuracy, reliability and appropriate behaviour.
- Document report logic, business definitions and technical processes.
- Support solutions after release and improve them based on business feedback.
- Ensure security, privacy, data governance and responsible AI requirements are considered throughout.
- Identify new opportunities to improve how Snooze uses data, reporting, automation and AI.
What We Are Looking For
You are a practical builder who enjoys taking an idea through to a working production solution. You would rather ship something people use rather than write about it.
You will have:
- Experience developing and deploying AI agents, intelligent automations or LLM-based applications.
- Practical experience with prompt design, agent workflows, tool calling and structured outputs.
- Strong hands-on Power BI experience including report development, data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
- Strong SQL skills for extracting, transforming, validating and reconciling data from multiple sources.
- A sound understanding of databases, data structures and integration patterns.
- Experience connecting AI solutions to business systems, APIs or databases.
- Strong attention to detail around data accuracy, calculations and reconciliation.
- The ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into practical solutions.
- The ability to investigate technical issues methodically.
- A genuine interest in emerging AI technologies, how they can be used safely within a business and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
You should be able to explain solutions you have built, including the problem being addressed, how the solution worked and how it went into production.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, Power Platform or Fabric.
- Power BI Service, scheduled refresh, workspace management and row-level security.
- Agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation or AI evaluation frameworks.
- Pronto ERP system.
- IBM Cognos reporting platform.
- Integration with ERP, CRM or ecommerce platforms.
- Software development using Python or another relevant language.
- Data governance, information security, privacy or responsible AI.
