Care, reimagined
Design and deliver innovative learning that builds clinical digital capability
Permanent, full time role, hybrid workplace model
Shape the Digital Future of Healthcare Across Victoria.
Great digital systems only deliver when they are designed around the real-world needs of the people using them. This newly created role is about bridging the gap between clinical reality and digital innovation—translating complex organizational and frontline needs into practical, high-impact digital solutions that move Monash Health toward genuine service transformation.
Make a Difference Through Digital Health
About The Role
We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Digital Business Analyst to join our Innovation, Platforms and Partnership team within the Digital and Information Division.
This is an opportunity to work on some of Victoria's most significant digital health initiatives, helping transform the way care is delivered across clinical and non-clinical services. You will work alongside project managers, clinicians, technical specialists, operational leaders and executives to design solutions that improve patient care, streamline services and deliver meaningful outcomes for our community.
We are looking for someone who values teamwork, thrives on solving complex problems, and wants to contribute to projects that have a genuine impact on the lives of patients, families and healthcare staff.
You will lead business analysis activities from project initiation through to solution implementation, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and help deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
You will also:
Lead stakeholder engagement, workshops and requirements gathering activities across clinical and corporate services.
Develop business cases, project initiation documentation and solution proposals that support organisational priorities
Analyse business processes, workflows and service models to identify improvement opportunities and deliver measurable benefits
Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into effective digital solutions.
Support solution design, testing, implementation and change activities across complex projects.
Contribute to portfolio planning, resource management and prioritisation activities across a diverse digital project portfolio.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a collaborative and community-minded professional who enjoys working with others to achieve shared outcomes.
You will bring:
Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within large and complex environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of an organisation.
Experience preparing business cases, analysing business processes and developing solution recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, manage competing priorities and influence outcomes in complex environments.
Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering outcomes that improve services for our patients and community.
Experience in healthcare or digital health is highly regarded.
