We're looking for an experienced Process Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation to join our team at the Phillip Creek Compressor and Gas Processing Facility in the Northern Territory. This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of a close-knit and supportive team responsible for operating and maintaining critical energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain gas transmission and processing facilities

Perform routine process plant operations and inspections

Carry out E&I maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and equipment calibrations

Maintain safety, shutdown, fire and gas systems
-
Respond to operational incidents and emergencies

Complete maintenance documentation and compliance activities

Undertake occasional interstate travel as required

About You
You are a trade-qualified Electrical & Instrumentation Technician with experience in oil & gas, gas processing, LNG or a similar heavy industrial environment. You enjoy hands-on maintenance work, troubleshooting faults and working as part of a safety-focused team. You will bring:

Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control (essential)

Current NT, QLD or equivalent Australian Electrical Licence (essential)

Experience with E&I maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown repairs

Experience maintaining valves, instrumentation, safety systems, and fire & gas equipment

Exposure to gas processing, gas transmission or related process industries

Certificate III in Process Plant Operations (desirable but not essential)
This role would suit someone looking for a varied, hands-on position that combines process operations with technical E&I maintenance.
