<p> </p> <p><strong>The BU Energy of Equans is recruiting a Site Engineer for its renewable energy activities (solar farms and batteries) in Australia.</strong></p> <h3>Hiring Context</h3> <p>As part of its new projects, Equans Solar and Storage Australia is expanding its on-site team and is looking for its next Site Engineer.</p> <p>You will report directly to the Solar or Battery Project Operations Manager.</p> <h3>RESPONSIBILITIES</h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and review electrical systems, equipment, and installations.</li> <li>Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.</li> <li>Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations.</li> <li>Support project execution from concept design through commissioning and handover.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.</li> <li>Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Perform site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.</li> <li>Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for system improvements and operational efficiencies.</li> <li>Provide technical support during construction, operation, and maintenance phases.</li> <li>Prepare engineering reports and present technical findings to stakeholders.</li> </ul> <h3>PROFILE</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li> <li>3 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience (depending on level).</li> <li>Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and industry standards.</li> <li>Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, PowerFactory, or similar tools.</li> <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Fluent in English.</li> <li>Experience working in Australia is an advantage.</li> </ul> <h3>Why Join Us?</h3> <p>Joining us means becoming part of a large Group while working within close-knit, human-sized teams.</p> <p>You will also benefit from regular training opportunities, like all our employees.</p> <p>So, are you ready to be part of the Equans adventure?</p> <p><strong>Equans France guarantees equal opportunities and diversity.</strong></p> <p>Equans promotes diversity and is committed to combating all forms of discrimination in our work environments.
