The opportunity
We are excited to announce an opportunity for motivated Process Engineering – Metallurgy students to join our vacation student intake for the 2026/27 summer university break. Regis offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, while contributing to projects and getting exposure to multiple sites.
Our Regis Vacation Program is designed to develop you by building your knowledge base and skills with real and practical work experience and set you up for success in your career.

This is a hands-on opportunity to understand what a career in mining looks like beyond the classroom.
The Regis Vacation Student program will run between November 2026 and February 2027, with placement dates aligned to university schedules where possible, spanning a duration of 12 weeks.
All Vacation Student roles are site-based and operate on a Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) roster of 8 days on, 6 days off, with travel between Perth and our Duketon operations provided. The program is fully paid, with comfortable on-site accommodation and meals included throughout your roster, ensuring a seamless and well supported experience while you’re on site.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
To be eligible for this program you will need to:
Hold valid Australian working rights for the duration of the program
Provide evidence of current enrolment in a tertiary qualification
Showcase a developing proficiency in soft skills, including communication, organisation, analysis, and problem-solving
Willing to be site based in a remote location – Our Duketon operations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA
Available to complete the program between December 2026 – February 2027
Exhibit adaptability in handling challenges and excel in collaborative teamwork
Demonstrate commitment to developing technical skills relevant to the mining industry
Show a willingness to learn and apply new concepts while contributing to the efficiency of the team
Ideally, hold a WA manual driver’s licence and Senior First Aid certification
