We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead the launch and ongoing success of a strategically significant new customer partnership within the sports retail sector.
This role will provide end-to-end accountability for the successful mobilisation, go-live and performance of a large-scale, highly automated distribution operation. Working in partnership with the customer and internal DSC leadership, you will establish operational excellence, build a high-performing culture and deliver outstanding customer, people and financial outcomes.
This opportunity is suited to a proven leader with experience delivering complex start-ups, leading large operational teams and driving performance within fast-paced supply chain environments.
Key Requirements:
- Significant senior leadership experience in General Management or Business Unit
- Leadership roles within complex logistics, supply chain or service-based organisations
- Demonstrated success leading major operational start-ups, customer mobilisations or go-live programs
- Experience operating within highly automated warehouse environments
- Strong & demonstrated commercial results with accountability for significant P&L performance and customer outcomes
- Proven ability to lead large, multi-layered teams and build high-performing cultures
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering at senior customer and executive levels
Highly Regarded:
- Experience within retail, eCommerce or omni-channel fulfilment environments.
- Exposure to large-scale warehouse automation and technology-enabled operations.
- Experience leading transformational change, network growth or business integration activities.
