About the Opportunity
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Shutdown Trades Assistants for several upcoming shutdown/turnarounds opportunities across Western Australia during September 2026.
Successful applicants will support trades and maintenance crews during planned shutdowns, assisting with mechanical, operational and general site activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Assist trades personnel with shutdown maintenance activities and perform general labouring duties, including equipment maintenance, cleaning, preparation and refuelling.

Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following permit-to-work systems, using appropriate PPE, and adhering to site safety procedures.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to HSEQ by maintaining high housekeeping standards, reporting hazards and incidents, and participating in safety meetings, inspections and audits.

Undertake other duties as required to support the successful delivery of shutdown operations.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants should hold where applicable:

Current Forklift (LF) Licence
-
Telehandler Operations Ticket
-
Experience in diesel refuelling of mobile and static equipment
-
Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
-
Working at Heights
-
Confined Space Entry
-
Gas Test Atmospheres
-
Basic Rigging and Dogging (desirable)
Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous shutdown experience within Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining or Heavy Industry.

A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.

The ability to work effectively within a team and follow direction.
