Title:
Junior Electrical Engineer
Due to continued growth and project wins we are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Perth to provide support to resource, infrastructure, port and defence projects.
Position Overview:
Key responsibilities include:

Assist in preparing electrical designs for LV and MV power systems, including creating drawings such as single lines, layouts, GAs, and cable schedules.

Perform basic electrical calculations like maximum demand, cable sizing, and equipment selection under the supervision of senior engineers.

Support the development of engineering documents, including design reports, scopes of work, equipment schedules and drawing registers.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external project teams and help coordinate drafting throughout the design process.

Occasional site visits during design, construction and commissioning stage.
Skills & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.

Previous experience (2 to 3 years or more) in electrical engineering within the transport (road/rail), infrastructure, or resources sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience with industry-standard software packages such as AGi32, PowerCAD and AutoCAD will be highly regarded.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Flexible, adaptable, and passion for continuous professional growth.

Australian Citizenship preferred with the ability to obtain Defence clearance.
