About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth within our business.
Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, developing and converting new project and maintenance opportunities while strengthening strategic relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Working closely with our operational, technical and executive leadership teams, you will build market intelligence, identify future opportunities and develop client-focused solutions that deliver value for both our clients and Linkforce.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and pursuing new project and maintenance opportunities across the mining and resources sector.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Developing strategic account plans to support long-term client growth.
Working collaboratively with operational, engineering and commercial teams to develop winning solutions.
Monitoring market activity, industry trends and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities.
Managing and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and opportunity forecasts.
Representing Linkforce at client meetings, industry events and networking forums.
Driving continuous improvement through market intelligence and business development best practice.
About You
You are a commercially astute relationship builder who understands the dynamics of the mining and resources sector and thrives on creating opportunities.
You will bring:
Proven experience in business development, commercial management or key account management within mining, resources, engineering, construction or related industries.
Strong networks and an ability to engage effectively with senior client stakeholders.
A demonstrated ability to identify, develop and convert opportunities into successful business outcomes.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
The ability to work autonomously while building strong internal partnerships.
High levels of resilience, initiative and adaptability.
Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
