Total Tools Windsor Gardens & Marion are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with a genuine passion for tools, trades, and building strong customer relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business, where you can leverage your sales expertise to identify new opportunities, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional service to trade and industrial customers. As a key representative of the Total Tools brand, you will play a vital role in expanding our customer base while developing long-term partnerships that add real value to our clients' businesses.
This is an outbound sales role covering a marketing territory across North Eastern and South Eastern Adelaide, with office facilities available at both Total Tools Windsor Gardens and Total Tools Marion. Working closely with the retail sales teams and management at both locations, and reporting directly to the Franchisee, you will be responsible for growing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter with experience in sales, account management, or business development, a proven ability to achieve KPIs in a target-driven environment, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
What will you be doing?
- Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders/accounts

Liaising with, and finding solutions for current and potential clients

Developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives

Effectively managing your diverse customer base

Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities

Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable cold calling as required

Achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets

- A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials

3+ Years expirience in a similar role or 5+ years in a sales role within the tools / hardware industry

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with sound experience in a similar sales role

A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making

Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude

Organised with excellent time management skills

Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail

Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner

A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage
