About the opportunity
Join Australia Post’s International Services team and turn complex data into business insights. Using your strong GCP, SQL and Tableau/Looker skills, you'll develop and maintain reporting solutions that provide visibility across international operations, customer performance, pricing, forecasting and network metrics.
Working with stakeholders across Finance, Pricing, IT, Sales and Account Management, you'll translate data into actionable insights, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and help deliver world-class international services.

- Deliver and maintain reporting and analytics for Australia Post’s International Services business.
- Manage and optimise data sources, pipelines and reporting solutions within GCP.
- Develop and enhance dashboards, reports and data models using SQL and Tableau/Looker.
- Partner with Sales, Account Managers, Pricing, Finance and Operations to provide actionable insights.
- Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions and performance improvement opportunities.
- Drive automation, process improvements and innovation across reporting and analytics.
- Monitor data quality, industry benchmarks and compliance with international postal standards.
- Support the evolution of reporting from descriptive metrics to predictive and AI-enabled insights.
About you
We're looking for a strong Performance Analyst with hands-on experience in GCP, SQL and data modelling who can build, maintain and optimise reporting solutions for our International Services business. You'll be comfortable working with cloud-based data platforms, designing data structures, developing queries and turning complex datasets into meaningful business insights. Just as important are your stakeholder management skills. You'll work closely with business teams to understand requirements, solve problems and deliver actionable insights. Experience in logistics or postal services isn't essential—we can teach the industry knowledge. What matters most is your technical capability, analytical mindset and ability to partner effectively with stakeholders.
You’ll also
- Advanced SQL/BigQuery/GCP, proficiency in use of query & reporting analysis tools and extensive Knowledge of MS Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau/Looker driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau/Looker administration/architecture
- Exposure to or willingness to learn AI/ML tools (e.g. Python, BigQuery ML, AutoML, Copilot tools) and OLAP Intelligence or SSRS SQL Server Tool
- Well-developed interpersonal, relationship management, communication, scheduling and report writing skills, including the application of appropriate techniques and tools in these key areas
- Ability to analyse and interpret data including compilation, forecasting and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in translating data into business insights and influencing decisions
- Experience in communicating reports and requirements to various levels of staff and management, and internal and external stakeholders
