The Director, Digital Asset Management and Continuity works across the entire digital landscape: engaging clinical, technical and biomedical stakeholders at senior executive level. The position supports the delivery of healthcare services, by working with business leaders to design and manage their operations with digital resilience in mind.
What you'll do
As the Director, Digital Asset Management and Continuity, you will lead the development, implementation and promotion of ICT asset and configuration management policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance, minimise risk and optimise asset lifecycle management across eHealth Queensland. You will oversee ICT asset replacement planning, identify and respond to emerging strategic challenges and opportunities, and provide leadership in the management of the Service Continuity Management Framework. The role is responsible for aligning eHealth Queensland's Emergency Management Plan with Queensland Health's Disaster and Emergency Incident Plan, coordinating emergency management responses when required, and driving the ongoing maturity of digital continuity capabilities through the Queensland Health Digital Continuity Maturity Framework. You will maintain ownership of the ITIL-defined IT Service Continuity and Asset Management processes, lead the Service Recovery Planning Program, and oversee the development, maintenance and communication of business continuity, recovery and service continuity plans to support critical ICT clinical and business systems during disaster or major disruption events.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Prior experience establishing strategies for addressing risks arising from business operations and change. Demonstrated ability to implement the strategy and execution of risk management activities (SFIA skill Business Risk Management - BURM - Level 7).
Proven record leading the development and implementation of a continuity management plan. Capably identifies information and communication systems that support the critical business processes and manages the relationship with specialists with authority for those systems. Proficiency designing and implementing a testing strategy to ensure that continuity plans and procedures address exposure to risk and that agreed levels of continuity are maintained (SFIA skill Continuity management - COPL - Level 5).
Competency leading the definition, implementation, and communication of strategic management frameworks. Able to direct the creation and review of plans to support the strategic requirements of the business. (SFIA skill Strategic planning - ITSP - Level 7)
