About the Opportunity
As a Project Engineer for ICON, you will have the opportunity to develop project management skills under the guidance of the project managers on a mix of Brownfield and Greenfield projects in the areas of offshore infrastructure, drilling rig/ platform and equipment design and modifications and field development projects.

ICON provides a flexible and collaborative team environment where you get to take ownership of the projects you will work on, challenge yourself and develop your career. The Project Engineer role at ICON provides a solid foundation for moving into a Project Management role on larger projects.

About You

Degree qualified engineer (structural or mechanical).
5+ years post graduate relevant engineering experience, including 3+ years in oil and gas.
Proven capability in successfully delivering discrete packages of work including design, sub-contractor management or offshore installation scopes.
Conversant with current offshore codes and specifications, with comprehensive knowledge of DNV, API and AISC, desirable.
Sound understanding of design and fabrication processes, onshore construction, offshore transportation, and installation methods.
Offshore experience in planning and supporting execution phases of a project is desirable.
