Project Manager – Aluminium Windows & Doors Adelaide, SA | Full Time | Vehicle Provided
IM Partners is recruiting on behalf of SAC Facades for an experienced Project Manager to support the continued growth of its aluminium windows and doors division.
This is a hands-on delivery role managing a portfolio of multiple projects across different stages, from shop drawings and procurement through to fabrication, installation and final handover.
The portfolio is expected to be approximately 70% commercial and 30% residential.
You will work closely with the Group's broader project management team, subcontract installers, suppliers, builders and internal fabrication personnel to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple aluminium windows and doors projects from award through to completion
- Coordinating shop drawings, procurement, fabrication, delivery and installation
- Managing project programmes, budgets, claims, variations and commercial outcomes
- Liaising with builders, clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring site progress, quality, defects and installation performance
- Providing practical input into procurement and fabrication based on your industry experience
- Working alongside the Groups Project Managers where facade and window packages overlap
- Maintaining clear project reporting, documentation and communication
The role will initially be approximately 50% office-based and 50% site-based, although this may evolve as the business grows.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Project management experience within the aluminium windows, doors, glazing or facade industry
- A strong understanding of fabrication, procurement and installation sequencing
- Experience managing commercial claims, variations, budgets and project programmes
- The ability to manage several projects at different stages without losing control of detail
- Strong relationships and communication skills across builders, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- A practical, accountable approach to project delivery
- The confidence to operate within a growing business where systems and responsibilities will continue to evolve
