Our
Daimler Trucks Perth dealership is seeking an experienced and motivated
Workshop Controller to lead our high-performing team and play a key role in keeping one of Western Australia's leading heavy vehicle dealerships running at its best.
Working with premium brands including
Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Freightliner and Fuso, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop, leading a team of approximately 15-20
Technicians and Apprentices while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This is a
full-time, permanent position working
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime opportunities and weekend work available when required.
About the Role
- Lead, mentor and support a large team of Technicians and Apprentices
- Oversee daily workshop operations — scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation
- Monitor job progress to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely completion
- Liaise with Service Advisors to keep customers informed and satisfied
- Maintain accurate job records, invoicing, and warranty compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and profitability
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and training to your team

About You
- Previous leadership experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman, Workshop Controller, or similar role within the automotive, heavy vehicle, or machinery industry
- Strong communication, organisational, and people management skills, with the ability to support and motivate a team
- A proactive approach with a passion for developing technicians and apprentices while driving quality and efficiency
- Experience working with European, American, or Japanese truck brands is advantageous but not essential
