Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to join Gippsland BreastScreen as our Program Manager.
This is a unique opportunity to lead Gippsland’s BreastScreen program, improving health outcomes for people across the Gippsland region. Working in partnership with BreastScreen Victoria (BSV), you will lead a passionate multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred breast screening and assessment services.
This role is being offered on a full time or 0.8 EFT basis.

About the Role
As Program Manager, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across Gippsland BreastScreen, ensuring safe, high-quality and sustainable service delivery while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with LRH, BreastScreen Victoria and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to strengthen service delivery and maximise positive health outcomes for the Gippsland community through BreastScreen.
This is a diverse leadership role where no two days are the same—balancing operational excellence with strategic planning, workforce leadership, service development and community partnerships.

About you
You are an authentic and collaborative leader who enjoys bringing people together to achieve shared goals. You will bring:

Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a complex service environment.

Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.

A balanced leadership approach, with the ability to confidently manage day-to-day operations while driving strategic priorities.

Knowledge of BreastScreen services and an understanding of public health service delivery will be highly regarded.
