Make an impact at Serco
As a Clinical Nurse - Mental Health and AOD at Acacia Prison, you will provide mental health assessment and intervention strategies for inmates at an advanced clinical nursing level to a prison population of approximately 1,520 prisoners, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration, ensuring their healthcare needs are met while adhering to the highest professional standards. This role is casual based in Wooroloo, WA with the opportunity to go permanent.
You could be a great fit if you have:

Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum four years full time equivalent post graduate experience in mental health nursing
-
Post graduate qualifications or working towards same; or extensive demonstrable clinical leadership experience
-
Previous experience in a clinical leadership role
-
Recent experience in a Mental Health service setting
-
Experience in clinical assessment, care planning, review and discharge planning of individual patients including ongoing regular reviews
-
Experience within a corrections or similar environment (desired)
-
A commitment to cultural awareness and respecting diversity
