Your key responsibilities will include the following: -
- Developing and executing the national IT strategy in alignment with the Group IT roadmap, standards, and business objectives.
- Acting as the key liaison between local operations and Group IT, ensuring global priorities are effectively translated into local business outcomes.
- Establishing, implementing, and monitoring IT governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality IT services that meet agreed service levels and business expectations.
- Driving the evolution from a reactive support environment to a structured service management model, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
- Monitoring IT performance through meaningful KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities, including regular testing and review.
- Leading the deployment, adoption, and optimisation of Group IT systems, applications, and platforms.
- Identifying and implementing technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Managing the lifecycle of business applications, infrastructure, and technology assets.
- Overseeing infrastructure strategy and development, including networking, cloud services, hosting, and workplace technologies.
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, Group security policies, and relevant local regulations.
- Implementing risk management and cybersecurity initiatives to protect business systems, data, and operations.
- Managing IT budgets, forecasts, vendors, and contracts to ensure value-driven investment and service delivery.
- Reviewing and rationalising technology solutions to align with Group standards and maximise efficiencies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders, key stakeholders, vendors, and Group IT teams.
- Communicating IT strategy, priorities, project outcomes, and performance across the organisation.
- Partnering with business leaders to align technology capabilities with operational and strategic requirements.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Defining team structures, roles, responsibilities, and professional development pathways.
- Driving change management initiatives to support technology transformation and organisational adoption.
- Promoting IT best practices, digital awareness, and continuous improvement across the business.
Your skills and experience will include: -
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. MSc/MA will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, service management frameworks (ITIL), and security standards.
- 8+ years of IT experience within a multinational environment.
- Proven experience in managing IT operations and driving IT strategy alignment with group standards.
- Ability to define, document, and improve IT processes and governance.
- Experience in leading transformation initiatives and deploying global IT solutions.
Strong knowledge of:
- IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments
- IT security and compliance.
- Enterprise applications and business systems.
- Microsoft ecosystem (AD, Azure, M365, etc.).
- Experience in vendor and contract management.
- Disaster recovery and business continuity experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Ability to align local IT strategies with global objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (local and global).
- Strategic thinking combined with operational execution capability.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Change management and transformation leadership.
- Commercial awareness and cost optimization mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) are advantageous.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulation.
