Details: Transport Canberra is seeking a dynamic, motivated, experienced leader to oversee the delivery of our Supported School Transport, Flexible Bus Services, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Bus Program, and Community Transport services.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse team, drive service excellence, and ensure accessible transport solutions within our Canberra community.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in complex behaviour support and an understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Restrictive Practices within a transport environment, experience in researching issues, analysing information and implementing practical solutions. The ideal candidate will be confident in liaising with a large range of stakeholders and managing enquires and complaints. This role requires experience in managing teams and workloads in a multifaceted service delivery environment, supervising staff, prioritising competing demands while maintaining a high standard of service.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Note: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.

Due to the operational requirements of the business, this is an office-based position. The successful applicant will be required to work their hours (7:21 per day) between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM, working with staff to ensure coverage of the call centre at all times.
