Employment Type: Part-time | Onsite | 12-month Contract
Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Our Transport team is looking for a Part-time Administration Assistant to join us at AutoNexus Altona on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you'll support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Transport team, helping to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating transport bookings, assisting with reporting and documentation, and supporting a range of internal processes. You'll also play an important role in helping the team stay organised and achieve broader business goals.

About the Role

This role will support the team with customer enquiries, transport booking coordination, manifest preparation, spreadsheet updates, and a variety of general administrative duties.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating transportation requirements for customers
Liaising with contracted freight companies and drivers, ensuring HSE contractor requirements are met
Ensuring vehicles are in the correct location and ready for collection with minimal disruption
Updating systems to accurately reflect vehicle movements
Receiving and processing vehicles for all clients
Providing general administrative support as required

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Previous experience in an administration or transport/logistics role (preferred)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems
A confident and proactive approach, with the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment and contribute positively to a collaborative and upbeat team culture!
