Project Landscape Architect – Brisbane

Our award-winning Brisbane team is growing and we are seeking a Project Landscape Architect to join our Fortitude Valley based studio. You will play a vital role in delivering innovative and practical design solutions that enhance the places where people live, work and connect.
As part of a multidisciplinary business, you will collaborate with colleagues across urban design, planning, survey, project management, economics, heritage and environmental consulting, giving you the opportunity to contribute to integrated, end-to-end project outcomes.

You will contribute to the full landscape design process across a range of projects, with a strong focus on urban regeneration and public realm design. Our Brisbane portfolio includes high-profile, award-winning projects such as:

About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting project delivery from concept through to construction documentation, ensuring design quality, creativity and efficiency across all stages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing design documentation, including:

Computer-based plans (AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign)

Hand-drawn sketches and concept illustrations

Reports, specifications and cost estimates

Contributing to project design development and documentation to meet client expectations and deadlines

Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues and assisting in finding practical design solutions

Supporting senior staff with client liaison and project coordination

Engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders including consultants, contractors and government agencies
Who You Are
- A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent, ideally recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA)

5+ years’ experience in landscape architecture within a professional practice

Strong design and technical documentation skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop (Revit, SketchUp and Lumion advantageous)

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
Citizenship, permanent residency or full-time work rights in Australia (sponsorship is not available for this role)
