A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Senior Ecologist, ideally specialising in botany to join our Ecology team, working out of our thriving Brisbane or Sydney offices.

This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Successfully managing projects that are within budget and delivered on time

Representing clients and facilitating external meetings

Identifying when team members needs support and providing them with the tools for success

Conducting flora and fauna surveys on complex projects

Delivering well written reports

Mentoring junior team members

Your Expertise and Skills

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

5 + years relevant consulting experience in planning and delivering ecological studies for the resources and infrastructure sectors of Queensland and/or New South Wales

Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Ecology/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or similar disciplines

Strong knowledge and experience conducting flora and fauna surveys

Experience with GIS desktop software such as ESRI, ArcGIS or QGIS and data collection packages ArcGIS Fieldmap and Survey123
