Full Job Description

Event Marquees is seeking an experienced Office Manager to manage the day-to-day administrative functions and resources of our Gold Coast branch.

Operating across the east coast of Australia with branches in Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, Event Marquees provides marquee and event infrastructure hire services for a broad range of events.

This hands-on role will manage office administration, systems, records, accounts administration, personnel coordination and office resources while working closely with our operational teams.

The successful applicant will also coordinate regularly with our Sydney and Melbourne branches and their Office Managers to support consistent administrative processes, information sharing and inter-branch operational and inventory requirements.

Previous experience within events, equipment hire and/or inventory management in a hire business will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing the Gold Coast office and its administrative functions;

· Coordinating office staff, workloads and resources;

· Managing administrative systems, records and accounts administration;

· Supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll and personnel administration;

· Coordinating with operational and event teams;

· Supporting hire inventory and equipment administration;

· Liaising with the Sydney and Melbourne branches;

· Coordinating suppliers, purchasing and office facilities;

· Maintaining WHS and administrative compliance; and

· Reviewing and improving office procedures and systems.

Applicants must have a relevant Diploma Qualifications and/or at least 1 -3 years of relevant office management experience together with strong organisational, communication and administrative skills.

Relevant qualifications in business, management or administration and experience within events, equipment hire, inventory management, logistics or a multi-branch business will be highly regarded.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + superannuation
Location: Gold Coast, QLD
Employment: Permanent, full-time – 38 hours per week

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
