About the Role

You’ll be critical in driving new customer acquisitions by developing and maintaining relationships with brokers, real estate agents, accountants and business owners. You’ll play a critical role for ANZ, increasing funds under management by providing whole of business finance solutions to customers.

You’ll work as part of a high performance, collaborative team and people from different industries and segments. There is also the potential to enter specialisations including Health and Premium Broker within CB&O. This variety makes the role interesting and provides a great opportunity to build valuable, highly transferable experience. No two days will be the same but every day will be focused on bringing new customers to ANZ so we can support them to start, grow or run their business.

This role can lead to many career pathways within our commercial division and across the rest of ANZ. Whichever pathway is right for you, there are inspiring leaders and tailored learning opportunities to give you the skills and accreditation you need to go after it.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain and leverage deep circle of influence and broker relationships
Drive a structured, disciplines weekly operating rhythm to drive strong sales momentum
Use data & insights engage potential and existing customers and to identify opportunities
Making cold calls as part of your acquisition approach
Collaborating with ANZ stakeholders to solve complex problems
Delivering excellent customer outcomes and experiences

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Business Development experience to build relationships and drive commercial outcomes
Experience with credit assessment and management
Ability to plan and prioritise to deliver on customer needs and strategic priorities
Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive efficiencies and long-term value
Strong stakeholder management to anticipate, understand and identify different needs
A passion for helping business owners thrive
Proven experience developing new and existing relationships with business owners and external networks
FSR Tier 2 certificate
University degree will be well regarded
