Data is deeply embedded in the product, engineering, quality, and customer experience culture at Tesla.
This role will collaborate across Demand Generation, Marketing, Web Development, Software, and executive teams to optimize the Web and Digital Customer Experience for Tesla Energy for APAC.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of digital marketing best practices, web UI/UX, web traffic data, web marketing channels, first through third party data, and data analysis.
Web Digital Platforms Analyst at Tesla supports campaign planning, site optimization, campaign performance, and data activation.
What You'll Do-
Lead Web Analytics for Tesla Energy in APAC

Analyze web page performance and features and optimize for customer conversion and interaction.

Recommend improvements to Tesla Energy’s digital UX based on your analysis of web traffic data.
- Design and conduct A/B tests on Tesla Energy pages

Evaluate Tagging and Tracking on Energy pages to ensure compliance and consistency

Combine marketing channel data with CRM analysis to provide audience sizing and attribute recommendations for digital marketing campaign activation in paid, organic, and earned media channels.

Recommend new marketing initiatives given outcomes of experiments and data analysis.

Deploy dashboards which allow teams to monitor web performance.
- Deploy impact analysis of business process changes on customer UX and recommend improvements.

Help build customer profiling, segmentation analysis within digital customer base

Provide marketing spend optimization recommendations based on attributed sales data.

Provide ad hoc reporting, insights, and recommendations to management as required.

Act as an individual contributor to a growing book of business
What You'll Bring-
3-5 years' experience working at an Enterprise Level in web analytics, digital marketing analytics, digital data science, or related field.

Expert Level understanding of BigQuery
- Expert Level understanding of GA4 (Funnels, Customer Flow, Attribution Logic,
- Expert Level understanding of Google Tag Manager and the ability to test pages for correct tagging
- Design and execute A/B tests for web pages
- Determine effectiveness and impact of changes using basic statistical tools (EG: significance tests, linear regression, basic time series analysis)

Excellent ability to design, deploy, and analyze website UI/UX changes, and their impact on customers and within digital channels.

Depth in pulling and blending data from Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Google Ads within a BI tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI)

Ability to write custom, efficient, SQL against large data stores.

Experience blending digital web data with databased information across multiple systems.
- Excellent understanding of Excel data manipulation
Bonus:

Ability to manage and deploy site tagging for conversion activity tracking using JavaScript/HTML + Tealium/Google Tag Manager

Experience with UX design or Design Thinking best practices (in web)

Experience working with data taxonomy in a DMP / CDP (Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft)
